Release of The Fairy Godmother's Apprentice

Human Destiny lies in the hands of fairies...

A little early Christmas present from the Dark Woods ... the final volume of The Dark Woods Trilogy is being released a month early on both Amazon and other major e-book retailers via Smashwords. The Fairy Godmother's Apprentice should be available in full release by Christmas Day, but Amazon and Smashwords customers can download the on-sale volume now.

In what is possibly the best story (and the authors' favorite) from the series, fans of Cinderella are given a glimpse of history behind the wish-granter made famous by the fairytale.

There are three kinds of fairies–or so the stories claim–the last of which named are the faerie godfolk. The wish-granters and half-human of the fairy world, they are meant to atone the mischief of fairies among men…

But do they? When young Baillie Albus learns the truth of her own strange gifts and becomes an apprentice destined to grant a human’s wish, she discovers a complex existence… and darker truths…beneath the surface of a world that is both faerie and mankind.

Read samples from the new volume when they're made available in the Sneaky Peaks section of Briggs' author blog The Paper Doll and watch the trailer available here and on amazon. For fans of the series looking forward to the spring release, never fear -- more dark stories await in 2012 in the form of special-release novellas for the original series.

The all-new Dark Woods Trilogy featuring three new novels is currently planned for release in 2013.
